About the Author

Mary Brookman lives in upstate New York on a farm passed down through seven generations of

her husband’s family. She taught in local schools until she retired to spend more time writing.

Using her experiences living on a family farm, Mary weaves mystery and suspense novels with

unexpected twists. Once is her debut novel.
